Open Mic Night
My partner Katrina Jo and I are very honored to have the opportunity to host Ohio Riot Open Mic every Thursday at Station 1 in Springfield. Open mic nights are very special to us. I personally believe its the best way to perfect performing your craft live! I have been a performer of many open mics. Its always fun. I have met a lot of my good friends today by attending open mics at various places such as McMurray's(Rip) Speakeasy Ramen, Peach's, Spirited Goat... etc... I continue to check out other open mics when I can. Some recent ones I have been to include Wings and Cosmo Joes.
Open mic is our church. We come together and celebrate music and friendship every week. We hope to provide an environment that everyone can feel safe in. We strive to provide a space for everyone to perform. This June we will celebrate pride month every week! We also have some special guests lined up. We love to have touring guests come through, if you're in a touring band and would like to stop by for a featured spot, hit me up at Info@MikeDefendant.com we can work something out.
