The Oath

That riff, it changed my mind.

Punk rock was something to find. 

I've always felt the same.

But it was nice to learn your name. 

These times that I've gone through,

weren't easy but I had you. 

You were always in my ears. 

You've had my back for all these years. 

Friends have come and moved along.

I still sing my punk rock song. 

When I'm alone and full of dread,

music plays inside my head. 

Motivation to keep up the fight. 

I live by the sound of my guiding light. 

Made this oath when I was a teen, to dedicate my whole life to the scene.
