Road Diary: Scumericana Fest 2026

It's a little after 1:30am so that means it's Scumericana Fest day 1! I am absolutely thrilled to the point of not being able to sleep, so I figured I would hop on here and start my tour diary a little early.
This fest will for sure be a gathering. I look forward to hanging out with some friends I don't get to see often and as always, I look forward to making new friends. The Rex Theater in Morenci,Michigan is where this will all take place. This is a movie theater that is over 100 years old! How cool is that?!?! I often think about how fortunate I am when it comes to having music in my life. It takes me to so many new places. Even with my high anxiety at times, I love being on the highway. It will be a nice little road trip with Captain Katrina Jo behind the wheel and our good friend and fellow musician Arin Arson will be tagging along as well.
On day 1 we will just be in the house supporting the other acts on the festival. Im looking forward to unwinding after riding a few hours from Da Field. I like that I'll have the opportunity to feel the place out and get to know some people before our show on day 2.
On day 2 Katrina and I will also be hosting a busking stage (Sponsored by Ohio Riot!). We plan on running it like our open mic. Come play us some songs!
We will have some merch that we made ourselves available for sale. I actually screen printed a run of patches for this show today. Katrina just cut em out like an hour ago. We have koozies that I also screen printed and buttons that we pressed. We got some stickers we printed as well (those bad boys are free). We have been working hard on improving our merch set up.
As we adventure I'll be updating my Facebook page and Instagram with photos and videos. etc.. But I do plan to spend time on the road reflecting and observing things that are interesting to me. I plan to document them via these entries for this website.
